- How much does EdgeLex cost?
- One plan with everything included: $89 per attorney per month, or $979 per attorney per year paid in advance (about two months free). No tiers, no feature gates, and frontier AI included with no caps.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. Every firm gets a 30-day free trial of the whole platform with no card required.
- Do I pay extra for AI usage?
- No. Frontier models from OpenAI and Anthropic are included in the plan with no caps, and Auto Routing chooses the model for each task. Adding your own key is optional, for more capable or specialised models, and that usage is billed by the provider to you with per-matter cost accounting inside EdgeLex. Fair use applies, as set out in the terms.
- Do we need IT staff or a setup project to start?
- No. The EdgeLex cloud is self-serve: sign up, invite your team, import your matters and documents, and work the same day. There are no servers to run and nothing to install; the desktop, mobile and Word apps are optional. Self-hosting is available for firms that want it and is never required.
- Can we run EdgeLex on our own servers?
- Yes. EdgeLex deploys in our cloud, your private cloud, or fully on-premises. The on-premises Private Edition is scoped with you rather than sold at a checkout.
